Outpatient Therapy
Chelsea Gardens is proud to announce that we now offer outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy at our facility. These programs are designed to restore the patients highest possible level of functional independence through individualized treatment plans approved by your physician. Our professional therapy staff is fully licensed/credentialed.
What is outpatient therapy?
Outpatient therapy is a program designed to provide therapy to those who would benefit from therapy 1-5 days per week. Whether it’s physical, occupational, or speech therapy, or all three, an individualized plan can be tailored to your specific needs.
How do I qualify?
You will need a doctor’s order. If you suffer from pain, specifically joint pain, you would be a great candidate for outpatient therapy. You may also qualify if you have general weakness, decreased balance and mobility, recent surgery, increased difficulty in performing simple activities of daily living (getting dressed, showering, bathing, toiling, etc.). You may also qualify for speech therapy if you have difficulty eating, speaking, or swallowing.
How much therapy would I receive?
Therapy will be based on your doctors recommendations as well as your specific clinical needs. Depending on those needs, you could receive therapy 1 to 5 times per week and around 45 minutes to an hour for each discipline (physical, occupational and speech therapy).
What insurances do you accept?
We accept Medicare (Part A & Part B), several commercial and managed care insurance plans and private pay. We are continuously working on becoming partners with other insurance plans, please contact us to see if we accept your specific insurance.
